As we enter through the front door of a home, we are moving from a public space into the private domain of someone’s home. This private space holds their personal and unique template and vibration.

A foyer or entry can offer a valuable point for the energy to pause and center before it moves forward.

A compassion area can be a foyer table, bench, chair, or even a small shelf where someone can place their keys.

Creating this energetic pause point is vital to both visitors and the homeowners themselves. It is as if we can take a deep breath leaving the outside world behind and then moving into our inner world.

When I am on a feng shui consultation, I take note of  the way the chi/lifeforce enters the home. A bench or table in the foyer tells me that they are both considerate and compassionate to themselves as well as others.

Does your Home Speak Compassion?

A compassion area is highly recommended when staging a home to sell. It offers incoming buyers a place to remove shoes, perhaps sit for a moment, gather business cards and just to get acclimated to the space.

To activate balance, gratitude, and grounding into our lives, create a compassion area in your home, business or apartment today.
